ACRIFIX® 1S 0117 High Flow Acrylic Adhesive for Capillary Bonding

ACRIFIX® 1S 0117 is designed for Precision Acrylic Bonding where Ease of Application and Clean results are both Important. ACRIFIX® 1S 0117 features a Highly Fluid formulation that allows it to flow smoothly into Narrow Joints, making it ideal for Butt Joint applications with accurate fit. Its Capillary action enables the Adhesive to penetrate fine gaps without Manual Force, allowing Technicians to achieve consistent and Professional results even in detailed fabrication work.

Compared with other grades like ACRIFIX® 1S 0116, ACRIFIX® 1S 0127, and ACRIFIX® 1S 0109, this product offers a strong balance between Flow and Control. It is optimized for Capillary Action while still allowing bonding without external pressure during assembly. This makes it especially useful in situations where components cannot be clamped easily. It is commonly used in Displays, Store Fixtures, and Engineering applications where Clean Joints and reliable assembly processes are required.

ACRIFIX® 1S 0117 bonds by softening the Acrylic Surface, allowing the material chains to interlock as the solvent Evaporates. ACRIFIX® 1S 0117 Adhesive forms a Strong and stable Joint as the fused structure contracts into a Solid Bond. It typically achieves initial strength within 30 to 90 Seconds, supporting efficient production workflows. While it does not offer Gap Filling, it delivers very Good Bond Strength and maintains Weather Resistance suitable for Indoor and Outdoor Use.

Unlike some solvent based adhesives such as ACRIFIX® 1S 0127 and ACRIFIX® 1S 0109, this Grade does not Contain Dichloromethane, making it a safer option for regular use. Exposure to Harsh Solvents similar to Chloroform can lead to Long Term Health concerns If not managed Properly. With proper ventilation and protective equipment, this Product provides a more balanced approach between performance and Safety. It supports Safer Working Conditions without compromising Bonding Efficiency in Professional Applications.
