ACRIFIX® 2R 0195 Structural Acrylic Adhesive for Satin Surfaces

ACRIFIX® 2R 0195 Adhesives is designed for a more Specific Purpose compared to Other Structural Adhesives in the Range. Instead of Targeting General applications, it is developed for Bonding Satin and Textured Acrylic Surfaces where standard clear Adhesives May not deliver the same Visual Result. Its formulation allows it to hold in Place more easily during application, especially on Matte or Non-Gloss Surfaces, helping users achieve more consistent Joints without Unwanted Flow or Uneven Spread.

In practical Fabrication, Satin Finishes behave differently from Smooth Acrylic Sheets. ACRIFIX® 2R 0195 Addresses this by providing a Bonding System that Visually Matches the Surface rather than creating a High-Gloss Joint Line. Compared with ACRIFIX® 2R 0190, 2R 1200, and 2R 2019, this Grade is Less about General Structural use and more about appearance Control in Specialized applications. It is commonly used in Display Panels, Decorative Elements, and designed Surfaces where maintaining the Original Look of the material is just as important as Bond Strength.

ACRIFIX® 2R 0195 Adhesives forms its Bond through a Catalyst-Driven Polymerization Process, Building New Polymer Chains within the Joint Structure. These Chains Interconnect with the Acrylic, creating a stable and durable Bond that holds well over time. Unlike Thinner Systems, ACRIFIX® 2R 0195 has a more Controlled, Thixotropic Behaviour, Meaning it stays where it is applied without Flowing Excessively. This helps maintain Clean Edges and consistent Bond Lines, especially on Vertical or uneven Surfaces.

Working Conditions are often not perfect, especially when dealing with Textured Materials. This Adhesive tolerates slight variations in Surface Consistency and still provides reliable Performance. As a reaction adhesive, it does not depend on Solvent

Evaporation, which Leads to more Predictable Curing and reduced Risk of Defects. It also avoids Heavy Reliance on Aggressive Solvent Systems often associated with Long Term exposure concerns.
