CYCOLOY™ IP1000 Resin is a specialized PC/ABS Grade developed for Automotive Interior applications requiring excellent Impact Performance, Low-Temperature Ductility, and reliable performance in Medium-Heat Environments. Widely recognized as a standard material for Instrument Panel applications, this Grade provides a balanced combination of Toughness, Durability, and Processability for demanding Automotive Interiors.
A Key Characteristic of CYCOLOY™ IP1000 is its Outstanding Low-Temperature Ductility. Components Manufactured from this material retain Toughness and Resistance to Cracking even when exposed to Cold Operating Conditions, making it particularly suitable for Automotive applications that must perform reliably across a Wide Temperature Range.
The Resin also delivers High Impact Strength, helping Instrument Panels and Interior Trim components withstand Assembly Stresses, Daily use, and Accidental Impacts. This Toughness contributes to Long-Term Durability while maintaining the appearance and Structural Integrity of Interior Vehicle Components.
Designed for Medium-Heat Operating Environments, CYCOLOY™ IP1000 Resin maintains a good balance of Dimensional Stability and Mechanical properties under Elevated Temperatures commonly Encountered within Vehicle Cabins. The PC/ABS Alloy combines the Toughness and Thermal capability of Polycarbonate with the Processing Advantages of ABS, enabling efficient Manufacturing of Large and Complex Interior Parts.
