ELCRES™ CRX7412U Polycarbonate Opaque Chemical Resistance Ductility

Medium Flow, High Ductility and Custom Colorable. UL94-V0 Rated

Chemical Exposure, Flame Performance, and Impact Durability often need to be addressed simultaneously in demanding Molded Components. ELCRES™ CRX7412U Polycarbonate Copolymer Resin Was developed to provide this balance through a combination of Chemical Resistance, High Ductility, Impact Strength, and Non-Halogenated Flame Retardancy.

Based on an Amorphous Polycarbonate Copolymer Platform, ELCRES™ CRX7412U Polycarbonate Resin delivers a Medium-Flow Processing Profile that supports efficient Molding while maintaining good Dimensional Consistency. The material is suitable for applications requiring a balance between Moldability and Mechanical Performance, allowing manufacturers to produce Parts with reliable Quality and Appearance.

A Notable Characteristic of ELCRES™ CRX7412U Polycarbonate Resin is its High Impact Strength and Ductility. Components Molded from ELCRES™ CRX7412U Resin are Able to Absorb Mechanical Stresses and Resist Cracking, helping maintain Durability in demanding Service Environments. The enhanced Toughness makes the material particularly attractive for Housings, Covers, and Structural components requiring Long-Term Reliability.

ELCRES™ CRX7412U Polycarbonate Resin also incorporates a Non-Chlorinated and Non-Brominated Flame-Retardant System. This provides improved Fire performance while supporting Compliance with Environmental requirements often associated with Halogen-Free material Solutions. The Result is a material that combines Safety performance with a balanced Environmental Profile.

Beyond its Mechanical and Flame-Retardant Properties, ELCRES™ CRX7412U Resin offers improved Resistance to Chemical exposure when compared with Conventional Polycarbonate Grades. This makes ELCRES™ CRX7412U Polycarbonate Resin suitable for applications where Contact with Cleaning Agents, Chemicals, or Harsh Environments may Occur.

Available in Opaque and Custom-Colorable Formulations, ELCRES™ CRX7412U Polycarbonate Resin provides Designers with flexibility to meet both Functional and Aesthetic Requirements. The combination of Chemical Resistance, Toughness, and Flame performance enables its use across a Broad range of Industrial and Electrical applications.

For Flame Performance, ELCRES™ CRX7412U Resin Achieves UL94 V-0 Classification from 1.2 mm to 3.00 mm Thickness.
