As a Medium Flow Siloxane Copolymer Polycarbonate, ELCRES™ EXL1418TAML Siloxane Copolymer Polycarbonate Resin Incorporates an Easy Release additive that improves Mold Release, reduces Cycle Time, and supports Consistent Part Quality in Injection Molding Operations.

Supplied in a Transparent Color, ELCRES™ EXL1418TAML Siloxane Copolymer Polycarbonate Resin delivers Excellent Room Temperature Ductility combined with Built In Antimicrobial performance. This makes the material Suitable for applications requiring enhanced Hygiene, Surface Cleanliness, and Long Term Durability without Compromising Optical appearance or Mechanical Integrity.

As Part of the LNP™ ELCRES™ EXL Copolymer Series, ELCRES™ EXL1418TAML Siloxane Copolymer Polycarbonate Resin is engineered to provide Unique Low Temperature Ductility, Broad Temperature Impact Strength, and Improved Chemical Resistance. These Characteristics Enable reliable Performance in both Indoor and Outdoor Environments, including applications exposed to Temperature Fluctuations, Moisture, and Repeated Mechanical Stress.

The ELCRES™ EXL Resin Platform offers Lower Notch Sensitivity and High Knit Line Strength, supporting Superior Surface Finish and Structural Consistency. With Improved Weatherability, better Heat Aging Resistance, and Enhanced Hydrolytic Stability compared to Conventional Polycarbonate Resins, ELCRES™ EXL1418TAML Siloxane Copolymer Polycarbonate Resin ensures Long Term Retention of Mechanical Properties. The Grade also Carries a UL 94 Flammability Rating, making it suitable for Regulated and Performance Driven applications.
