Improved Chemical Resistant Non Chlorinated, Non Brominated UL94 Rated

ELCRES™ EXL7414L Polycarbonate Resin is a Non‑Chlorinated, Non‑Brominated Flame Retardant Engineering Thermoplastic developed for applications that require Low Temperature Toughness, Chemical Resistance, and reliable Fire Performance. This Opaque Grade belongs to the ELCRES™ Polycarbonate Copolymer series and is designed to maintain Mechanical Integrity in demanding environments.

One of the defining capabilities of ELCRES™ EXL7414L Polycarbonate Resin is its ability to retain ductility down to −40 °C, allowing components to Resist Brittle Failure under Cold Conditions. This makes it particularly suitable for applications exposed to low temperature environments where Impact Reliability is Critical.

ELCRES™ EXL7414L Polycarbonate Resin also provides Improved Chemical Resistance, supporting use in parts that may encounter cleaning agents, oils, or industrial fluids. This added Durability helps maintain both Performance and Appearance over Extended Service Life.

With a Melt Flow Index of approximately 10 (MFI @ 10), ELCRES™ EXL7414L Polycarbonate Resin offers a Balanced processing profile, enabling consistent mold filling and stable part formation without excessive Flow Sensitivity. This supports reliable manufacturing of both standard and moderately complex geometries.

Fire safety is addressed through a Non Halogenated Flame Retardant System, allowing ELCRES™ EXL7414L Polycarbonate Resin to meet demanding Regulatory requirements while avoiding Brominated and Chlorinated Additives.

ELCRES™ EXL7414L Polycarbonate Resin is UL94‑V0, 0.60 mm ~ 3.00 mm Rated, supporting applications that require Certified Flame Resistance across a Wide Thickness Range.

The RoHS Compliant status of ELCRES™ EXL7414L Polycarbonate Resin supports its use in applications where Environmental Material Restrictions must be considered alongside Performance Requirements.
