PLEXIGLAS® XT 0A570 Acrylic Sheet. High Clarity UV Absorbent Solution

PLEXIGLAS® XT 0A570 Acrylic Sheet is an advanced UV Absorbent grade engineered for Museum, Gallery, and Fine Art Protection applications where Transparency, Clarity, and Low Reflectivity is Critical. Unlike UV Blocking materials that reflect rays, this formulation absorbs harmful Ultraviolet exposure without compromising visible light transmission or visual fidelity, making exhibited surfaces more natural and easier to view.

This unique extrusion grade product can be produced in extended lengths with a maximum width of 2,050 mm, allowing more efficient fabrication for large Displays, Showcases, Glazing Panels, and Protective enclosures. The continuous extrusion process provides exceptional dimensional consistency with tighter tolerances of approximately ±5% compared to Cast Acrylic Sheets at ±10%, benefiting automated processing and precision manufacturing lines.

PLEXIGLAS® XT 0A570 Acrylic Sheet offers easier thermoforming, Bending, and Vacuum Forming due to its lower softening temperature. This characteristic enables faster heat cycles and cleaner forming outcomes for curved geometries, Diffuser Assemblies, and Protective Barriers where speed and repeatability enhance commercial productivity.

Performance features include 92% Light Transmission across all nominal thicknesses, Non UV Transmitting properties, excellent Brilliance, Superior Outdoor Weather Resistance, and High Surface Hardness. PLEXIGLAS® XT 0A570 Acrylic Sheet is lightweight at roughly half the weight of Glass, Chemically Resistant, Fully Recyclable, and significantly more Durable than Generic PMMA Sheets, particularly against Outdoor Microcracking. The material is engineered to withstand Rain, Wind, and Temperature Cycling without compromising Optical Integrity.

Its Naturally UV Stable molecular composition provides uniform stabilization throughout the entire sheet rather than relying on a Thin Surface Coating. This prevents Long Term brittleness and Microcracking from UV Degradation, a failure mode commonly observed with untreated plastics.
