LEXAN™ 4504 Polycarbonate Resin is a Food Contact Compliant Copolymer Polycarbonate Grade engineered for applications requiring High Heat Resistance, material Purity, and Dimensional Stability. This Opaque material is designed to maintain performance in Regulated Environments where both Thermal capability and Compliance Standards are Essential.

In applications where Materials must meet Food Contact Requirements, Consistency and Safety are just as important as Performance. This Grade is formulated to deliver reliable Thermal Stability with controlled Composition, making it suitable for components used in Regulated Processing and Consumer Environments.

A Key performance Feature of LEXAN™ 4504 Polycarbonate Resin is its ability to withstand Elevated Temperatures under Load. With a Deflection Temperature under Load (DTUL) of approximately 290°F–295°F at 264 Psi, it maintains Structural Integrity and resists deformation in demanding Thermal Conditions, supporting stable performance in Heat-Exposed applications.

The material also offers good Dimensional Stability, allowing Parts to retain Precise Geometry during both Processing and Operation. This is important for applications where Fit, Alignment, and Surface Consistency must be preserved under varying Temperatures.
