LEXAN™ EXL1112 Polycarbonate Resin is a Polycarbonate Siloxane Copolymer material engineered for applications requiring Low Temperature Ductility, High Flow Processability, and Impact Durability. This Opaque Grade is designed to maintain Toughness even under Cold Conditions while supporting efficient Manufacturing.
In Environments where Materials are exposed to Low Temperature Conditions, maintaining Ductility is critical to Prevent Brittle Failure. This Grade is formulated to deliver reliable Impact performance Down to -20°C, allowing components to Absorb Stress without Cracking, supporting consistent Mechanical reliability in Cold Environments.
A Key Advantage of LEXAN™ EXL1112 Polycarbonate Resin is its High Flow Behavior, enabling efficient Mold Filling for Complex Geometries and Thin-Wall Designs. This supports Faster Cycle Times and improved Manufacturing Efficiency, particularly in High-Volume Production.
The material also features Easy Release Characteristics, helping reduce Mold Sticking and Improve Part Ejection. This contributes to Smooth Processing, reduced Tool Wear, and consistent Part Quality across Production Runs.

LEXAN™ EXL1112 Polycarbonate Resin Achieves UL94 HB Rating from 0.50 mm to 3.00 mm Thickness, making it suitable for applications where Basic Flame performance is Sufficient. In addition, it is RoHS Compliant, aligning with Global Environmental Standards.
In practical use, this Grade is well suited for Consumer Electronics, Automotive Interior Components, Housings, and Impact-Resistant Parts where Low-Temperature performance and Processing Efficiency are Key. Its ability to maintain Ductility in Cold Environments makes it especially valuable in applications exposed to varying Climates.
