LEXAN™ EXL1112A Polycarbonate Resin is a Polycarbonate Siloxane Copolymer material engineered for applications requiring Low Temperature Ductility, High Flow Processability, and consistent Mold Release Performance. This Opaque Grade is designed to deliver reliable Toughness in Colder Environments while maintaining stable and Repeatable Manufacturing Behavior.

In applications exposed to Cold Operating Conditions, Materials must maintain flexibility to Prevent Cracking or sudden Failure. This Grade is formulated to provide Dependable Impact performance Down to -20°C, allowing components to Absorb Stress and retain Functionality, supporting reliable Mechanical performance in Low Temperature Environments.

A Key Feature of LEXAN™ EXL1112A Polycarbonate Resin is its consistent Flow and improved Mold Release Behavior, helping Ensure Smooth Part Ejection across Multiple Production Cycles. This supports stable Processing, reduced Variability, and improved Production Efficiency, especially in Automated Manufacturing Setups.

Compared to standard Polycarbonate Materials, the Siloxane-Modified Structure enhances flexibility and Toughness, making Parts more resistant to Impact and Fatigue. This is particularly beneficial in applications requiring Durability across Temperature Fluctuations.

The Resin also provides High Flow Characteristics, enabling efficient Filling of Molds with Complex Geometries. This helps reduce Injection Pressure requirements while Improving Replication Accuracy, Contributing to Manufacturing Consistency and High-Quality Part Output.

LEXAN™ EXL1112A Polycarbonate Resin Achieves UL94 HB Rating from 0.50 mm to 3.00 mm Thickness, making it suitable for applications where Basic Flame performance is Sufficient. In addition, it is RoHS Compliant, aligning with Global Environmental Standards.

In practical use, this Grade is well suited for Consumer Products, Automotive Interior Components, Housings, and Impact-Resistant Parts where consistent performance under Low Temperature Conditions is required. Its improved Release behavior also makes it Advantageous for High-Volume Production Environments.
