LEXAN™ EXL1132 Polycarbonate Resin is a Polycarbonate Siloxane Copolymer material engineered for applications requiring Low Temperature Ductility, UV Stability, and reliable Processing Performance. This Opaque, High Flow Grade is designed to maintain Toughness in Cold Environments while supporting consistent and efficient Production.
In applications exposed to variable Climate Conditions, Materials must remain durable under both Low Temperatures and Light Exposure. This Grade is formulated to deliver Dependable Impact performance at -20°C, allowing components to Resist Brittle Failure and maintain Mechanical Integrity in Cold Operating Environments.
A Key Advantage of LEXAN™ EXL1132 Polycarbonate Resin is its Integrated UV Stabilization, which helps protect against Discoloration and degradation caused by Prolonged Light Exposure. This supports Long-Term material Stability and Visual Performance, particularly in Semi-Outdoor or Light-Exposed applications.
The material also incorporates Easy Release Characteristics, enabling Smooth Part Ejection and reducing Sticking during Molding. This contributes to consistent Processing behavior and reduced Tooling Stress, especially beneficial in High-Volume Manufacturing Environments.
With its High Flow Profile, the Resin enables efficient Mold Filling of Complex Geometries and Thin Sections. This supports Faster Cycle Times and Improves Manufacturing Efficiency without Compromising Part Quality, making it suitable for Scalable Production.

LEXAN™ EXL1132 Polycarbonate Resin Achieves UL94 HB Rating from 0.75 mm to 3.00 mm Thickness, supporting General-Purpose applications where Basic Flame performance is Sufficient. In addition, it is RoHS Compliant, aligning with Global Environmental Standards.
In practical use, this Grade is well suited for Consumer Products, Outdoor or Semi-Outdoor applications, Automotive Interior Parts, Electrical Housings, and Impact-Resistant components where Low-Temperature Toughness and UV Durability are required.
