LEXAN™ EXL1433T Polycarbonate Resin is a Transparent Polycarbonate Copolymer material engineered for applications requiring Low Temperature Ductility, UV Stability, and balanced Processing Performance. This Clear Grade is designed to deliver Durability, Clarity, and Environmental Resistance in applications where both appearance and performance must be maintained.
In applications exposed to variable Climate and Light Conditions, Materials must perform reliably without Losing Clarity or Strength. This Grade provides Dependable Impact performance at -30°C, allowing components to remain Flexible and resistant to Damage, supporting consistent Mechanical behavior in Moderately Cold Environments.
A Key Advantage of LEXAN™ EXL1433T Polycarbonate Resin is its Integrated UV Stabilization, which helps reduce Discoloration and material degradation over time. This supports Long-Term Optical Clarity and Environmental Durability, making it suitable for components exposed to Light or Semi-Outdoor Conditions.
With its Medium Flow Characteristics, the material offers a controlled Molding Profile that Balances Flow Efficiency with Dimensional Accuracy. This allows reliable Filling of Molds while maintaining Precise Geometry and stable Part Quality, particularly in Transparent Designs.
The Resin also Demonstrates improved Chemical Resistance, enabling it to perform consistently in Environments where exposure to Cleaning Agents or Mild Chemicals is expected. This contributes to Extended Service Life and Functional reliability across various applications.
The Siloxane-Modified Structure enhances Impact Strength and Flexibility, allowing Parts to withstand repeated Stress and Usage without Failure. Combined with excellent Optical Clarity, this ensures components meet both Functional and Aesthetic Requirements.
From a Processing Standpoint, the material supports efficient Molding with stable Shrinkage Behavior. This results in improved Manufacturing Consistency and Production Control, especially in High-Volume Environments.
LEXAN™ EXL1433T Polycarbonate Resin Achieves UL94 HB Rating from 1.50 mm to 2.30 mm Thickness, making it suitable for applications where Basic Flame performance is Sufficient. In addition, it is RoHS Compliant, aligning with Global Environmental Standards.
In practical use, this Grade is well suited for Transparent Covers, Automotive Interior Components, Lighting applications, Consumer Devices, and Outdoor-Exposed Parts where Clarity, UV Resistance, and Cold Toughness are required.
