LEXAN™ EXL4312 Polycarbonate Resin is a 20% Glass Reinforced Polycarbonate Siloxane Copolymer material engineered for applications requiring Maximum Structural Stiffness, High Strength, and Low Temperature Ductility. This Opaque Grade is designed for Heavy-Duty Load-Bearing applications, where performance under both Mechanical Stress and Environmental Conditions is Critical.

In applications subjected to High Mechanical Loads and Dynamic Impact, Materials must Offer both Rigidity and controlled Energy Absorption. This Grade is formulated to deliver enhanced Strength and Structural Integrity, allowing components to maintain performance in High-Energy Service Environments while minimizing Deformation.

A Key Advantage of LEXAN™ EXL4312 Polycarbonate Resin is its 20% Glass Reinforcement, which significantly Increases Stiffness and Load-Bearing capability compared to Lower Reinforced Grades. This makes it suitable for applications requiring Maximum Structural Stability and Resistance to Mechanical Stress, especially in Larger or Thicker Components.

Despite its High Reinforcement Level, the material maintains Low Temperature Ductility, allowing it to perform reliably under Colder Conditions without Brittle Failure. This ensures consistent Mechanical performance across variable Temperature Environments, including Outdoor or Industrial applications.

With a Medium Flow Profile (MVR ~10), the Resin provides controlled Processing Behavior, enabling consistent Mold Filling while maintaining Dimensional Accuracy. This supports reliable Part Geometry and stable Manufacturing Performance, even in Complex or Structural Designs.
