LEXAN™ EXL4419 Polycarbonate Resin is a 9% Glass Reinforced Polycarbonate Siloxane Copolymer material engineered for applications requiring balanced Structural Stiffness, Impact Performance, and Chemical Resistance. This Opaque Grade is designed to deliver a reliable combination of Strength and Toughness in Environments where Mechanical Durability and Environmental Exposure must be Managed together.

In applications subjected to repeated Mechanical Stress and Moderate Impact Loads, Materials must maintain performance without becoming Brittle. This Grade is formulated to provide improved Toughness Along with Reinforced Strength, allowing components to Absorb Stress while maintaining Structural Integrity in Dynamic Conditions.

A Key Advantage of LEXAN™ EXL4419 Polycarbonate Resin Lies in its 9% Glass Reinforcement, which delivers enhanced Stiffness and Load-Bearing capability while Retaining Ductility. Compared to Higher Reinforced Grades, LEXAN™ EXL4419 Polycarbonate Resin offers a more balanced performance between Stiffness and Impact Strength, making it Versatile for applications that do not require Maximum Rigidity but still demand reliable Structural Performance.

The Siloxane Copolymer Structure further enhances Impact Strength and Resistance to Crack Propagation, ensuring Durability under Repetitive Loading and Long-Term use Conditions.

From a Dimensional Standpoint, the material maintains stable Geometry during both Processing and Service, supporting accurate Fit, Assembly Alignment, and Long-Term performance Consistency.

LEXAN™ EXL4419 Polycarbonate Resin Achieves UL94 HB Rating from 0.40 mm to 3.00 mm Thickness, making it suitable for applications where Basic Flame performance is Sufficient. In addition, it is RoHS Compliant, aligning with Global Environmental Standards.

In practical use, this Grade is well suited for Automotive Components, Electrical Housings, Industrial Parts, and Consumer Products where a balance of Stiffness, Toughness, and Environmental Resistance is required. Its Moderate Reinforcement Level makes it highly Adaptable across different Design Requirements.
