LEXAN™ EXL5689 Polycarbonate Resin is a 9% Glass Fiber Reinforced Polycarbonate Siloxane Copolymer material engineered for applications requiring Flame Retardancy, enhanced Stress Crack Resistance (ESCR), and Structural Stability. This Opaque Grade is designed to perform reliably in Environments where components are exposed to Mechanical Stress, Chemical Contact, and Long-Term Operational Conditions.
In applications where Materials Encounter repeated Stress and Chemical Exposure, maintaining Integrity without Cracking is Essential. This Grade is formulated with improved ESCR Performance, allowing components to Resist Environmental Stress Cracking and retain Functionality over Extended Periods. This supports Long-Term reliability in Harsh Operating Conditions.
A Key Advantage of LEXAN™ EXL5689 Polycarbonate Resin is its 9% Glass Reinforcement, which enhances Stiffness and Load-Bearing capability while maintaining balanced Toughness. This combination allows Parts to Hold Shape under Stress while still Resisting Brittle Failure, making it suitable for demanding Structural and Electrical applications.
