LEXAN™ EXL6414 Polycarbonate Resin is an Impact Modified Polycarbonate Siloxane Copolymer material engineered for applications requiring Extreme Low Temperature Ductility, High Viscosity Structural Stability, and Chemical Resistance. This Grade is designed to deliver reliable Toughness in Environments where components are exposed to Mechanical Stress, Cold Conditions, and Chemical Contact.

In applications Operating under Deep Cold Conditions, Materials must remain Flexible to Avoid Brittle Failure. This Grade provides Dependable Impact performance at -40°C, allowing components to retain Toughness and maintain Mechanical Integrity under Severe Low Temperature Environments.

A Key Advantage of LEXAN™ EXL6414 Polycarbonate Resin is its High Viscosity Profile, which offers Superior Melt Strength during Processing. This enables Better Control for Thicker Sections, Structural Geometries, and Load-Bearing Components, supporting Dimensional Stability and robust Part Integrity.

LEXAN™ EXL6414 Polycarbonate Resin Achieves UL94 HB Rating from 1.50 mm to 3.00 mm Thickness, making it suitable for applications where Basic Flame performance is Sufficient. It is also RoHS Compliant, aligning with Global Environmental Standards.

In practical use, this Grade is well suited for Automotive Components, Industrial Parts, Electrical Housings, Outdoor Equipment, and Structural applications where Impact Resistance, Chemical Durability, and Low-Temperature performance are Critical. Its High-Viscosity and Impact-Modified Nature make it particularly Effective in Thick-Wall and Load-Bearing Designs.
