LEXAN™ HFD1433 Unique Transparent Clear Polycarbonate Copolymer Resin

LEXAN™ HFD1433 Polycarbonate Resin is a Transparent Polycarbonate Copolymer formulated to Combine High Flow Processability, UV Resistance, and improved Low Temperature Toughness. This Non-Reinforced Grade is Intended for applications where Parts must be Produced Efficiently while maintaining reliable performance under both Environmental exposure and Temperature Variation.

During Injection Molding of Complex or Thin-Wall Components, the Resin Demonstrates good High-Flow Behavior, supporting uniform Filling and reduced Processing Pressure. This contributes to stable Cycle performance and consistent Part Quality, particularly in High-Volume Production Environments where Repeatability is Critical.

Cold Weather performance is enhanced through its ability to maintain Ductility Down to -30°C, allowing components to Resist Cracking when exposed to Lower Temperatures. This Extends the Usable range of the material into applications where standard Grades may become Brittle, providing a more robust Solution under Moderate Cold Conditions.

To address Light Exposure, the formulation includes a UV Stabilizer, which helps Limit Discoloration and Property degradation over time. This added Protection enables components to retain their Optical Clarity and Mechanical Integrity when used in Environments with Prolonged Lighting or Indirect Outdoor Exposure.

The Transparent Nature of the Resin supports Clear Visibility and consistent Surface Aesthetics, making it suitable for applications where both performance and appearance are Important. For Flame Classification, LEXAN™ HFD1433 Polycarbonate Resin Achieves UL94 HB Rating from 0.80 mm to 3.00 mm Thickness, Meeting Basic Fire performance requirements without Incorporating Flame-Retardant Additives.

The Resin is also RoHS Compliant, supporting alignment with Global Environmental and Regulatory Standards.
