LEXAN™ HFD1731 Unique Transparent Clear Polycarbonate Copolymer Resin

LEXAN™ HFD1731 Polycarbonate Resin is a Transparent Polycarbonate Copolymer formulated to provide High Flow Processability, UV Resistance, and stable performance in standard Operating Conditions. This Non-Reinforced Grade is designed for applications where efficient Molding, Optical Clarity, and Resistance to Light exposure must be achieved together.

When Processing components with Intricate Geometries or Thin-Wall Features, the Resin Exhibits good High-Flow Behavior, enabling uniform Cavity Filling and improved Mold Replication. This supports consistent Part Quality and Better Production Efficiency by reducing Cycle Variability and Processing Constraints, particularly in High-Volume Manufacturing Environments.

In applications exposed to Mild Temperature Variation, the material offers Ductility Down to -10°C, allowing Parts to maintain flexibility and Resist Cracking under Moderate Cold Conditions. This ensures Dependable Mechanical performance without requiring specialized Low-Temperature Materials.

With the addition of a UV Stabilizer, the formulation helps protect against Discoloration and Long-Term degradation caused by Light Exposure.
