Non Reinforced. Low Temperature 0 °C Ductility with Better High Flow
LEXAN™ HFD1910 Polycarbonate Resin is a Transparent Polycarbonate Copolymer formulated to provide enhanced High-Flow Processing, Optical Clarity, and stable performance in standard Temperature Environments. This Non-Reinforced, Non-Flame Retardant Grade is Intended for applications where efficient Moldability and consistent Part Quality are Primary Design Considerations.
During Injection Molding of Complex or Thin-Wall Components, the Resin Exhibits improved High-Flow Characteristics, allowing material to distribute Evenly across the Cavity with Minimal Resistance. This behavior supports reduced Injection Pressure and improved Cycle Consistency, making it suitable for manufacturers Aiming to achieve Higher Throughput and reliable Production Repeatability.
From a Thermal performance Standpoint, LEXAN™ HFD1910 Polycarbonate Resin maintains Ductility at Temperatures Down to 0°C, enabling components to retain flexibility and Avoid Brittle Failure in Mildly Cold Environments. This performance Level supports applications that operate within controlled or Indoor Conditions where Basic Low-Temperature capability is Sufficient.
The Transparent formulation provides Clear Light Transmission and uniform Visual Quality, allowing Designers to meet both Functional and Aesthetic Requirements. This makes the Grade suitable for applications where Appearance, Inspection, or Optical Access is important alongside Structural Performance.
Its Copolymer Structure contributes to balanced Impact Resistance and Dimensional Stability, ensuring that Parts maintain their Shape and Integrity during Handling and use. This helps support consistent Assembly Fit and Long-Term Functional reliability across a Variety of Product Designs.
In Terms of Flame Classification, LEXAN™ HFD1910 Polycarbonate Resin Achieves UL94 HB Rating from 0.50 mm to 3.00 mm Thickness, Meeting Basic Fire performance requirements for applications where Flame Retardancy is not required.
The Resin is also RoHS Compliant, supporting alignment with Global Environmental and Regulatory Standards.
