LEXAN™ MPX1 Polycarbonate Resin is an Opaque Polycarbonate Copolymer developed for General-Purpose Engineering applications requiring High Flow Processability, improved Low-Temperature Toughness, and UV Durability. LEXAN™ MPX1 Polycarbonate Resin is designed to deliver a practical balance between Manufacturing Efficiency, Environmental Resistance, and reliable Long-Term performance in Everyday Molded Components.
In Injection Molding Environments Involving Complex Geometries or Thin-Wall Designs, LEXAN™ MPX1 Polycarbonate Resin Exhibits High Flow characteristics that support Smooth Cavity Filling and accurate Replication of Fine Part Details. This allows the unique Polycarbonate Resin to maintain stable Production Conditions while enabling reduced Cycle Times in High-Volume Manufacturing. The formulation of LEXAN™ MPX1 Polycarbonate Resin also includes easy Release Behavior, Improving Demolding Efficiency and reducing Tool Interaction during repeated Processing Cycles.
From a performance Standpoint, LEXAN™ MPX1 Polycarbonate Resin maintains Ductility Down to -30°C, ensuring components Produced with LEXAN™ MPX1 Polycarbonate Resin remain Flexible and resistant to Cracking in Cold Environments. This makes LEXAN™ MPX1 Polycarbonate Resin suitable for applications exposed to Temperature Variation where standard Materials may Lose Impact Toughness.
LEXAN™ MPX1 Polycarbonate Resin also incorporates a UV Stabilizer System, helping protect against Light-Induced degradation such as Discoloration and Loss of Mechanical Properties. LEXAN™ MPX1 Polycarbonate Resin is also RoHS Compliant, supporting Global Environmental and Regulatory Alignment.
