LEXAN™ SLX1432 Polycarbonate Resin is formulated for Outdoor-Focused applications where Long-Term Weather Resistance and consistent Mechanical performance are Critical. As an Opaque Copolymer, it is designed to maintain both appearance and Structural Integrity in Environments exposed to Sunlight, Chemicals, and Environmental Stress.

A Major Strength of this material comes from its UV-Stabilized Formulation. Continuous exposure to Sunlight can Cause Discoloration and Surface degradation in Conventional Materials, but LEXAN™ SLX1432 Polycarbonate Resin helps Minimize these Effects. This allows components to retain Color Stability and Surface Quality over Extended Service Life, making it well suited for Outdoor Systems.

Processing behavior is carefully balanced through a Medium Viscosity Profile. For Basic Fire Performance Requirements, LEXAN™ SLX1432 Polycarbonate Resin Achieves UL94 HB Rating from 1.50 mm to 3.00 mm Thickness. This makes it suitable for Designs where Flame Retardant Additives are not required but Baseline Safety performance is still Needed.

The material is also RoHS Compliant, supporting Environmental and Regulatory alignment in Global applications.
