LEXAN™ SLX9271T Polycarbonate Resin is a Transparent Copolymer designed for Outdoor applications where Flame Performance, UV Durability, and Processing Efficiency must be achieved within a Single material Solution. It combines Low Viscosity Flow with enhanced Environmental Resistance, making it suitable for Designs that balance Safety requirements and Production Efficiency.

In Outdoor Environments, maintaining appearance over time is a Common Challenge. This Grade Addresses that through Integrated UV Stabilization, helping Limit Yellowing and Surface Degradation. as a Result, Parts retain their Optical Clarity and Overall performance even after Extended exposure to Sunlight and Weathering Conditions.

From a Processing Perspective, this material is Built for Productivity. Its Low Viscosity enables Smooth and Fast Mold Filling, especially in Thin-Wall or Complex Components. Lower Injection Pressure and Shorter Cycle Times Contribute to efficient Manufacturing. Easy Release behavior further supports Demolding Consistency and reduces Interaction with Tooling, helping Improve Overall Process Stability.

Flame performance is a Key Differentiator in this Grade. LEXAN™ SLX9271T Polycarbonate Resin Achieves UL94 V-0 Classification at 3.00 mm Thickness, providing a Higher Level of Fire Resistance compared to Many standard Outdoor Materials. This allows it to be used in applications where both Environmental exposure and Stricter Flame requirements must be Met.
