LEXAN™ XHT1141 Polycarbonate Resin is an Opaque Copolymer designed for High-Temperature applications where Thermal Stability must be maintained without Sacrificing Processing Efficiency. This Non-Reinforced Grade is developed to provide reliable performance in Environments exposed to sustained Heat, while Remaining practical for General-Purpose Injection Molding.

Heat Resistance is the Defining capability of this Material. LEXAN™ XHT1141 Polycarbonate Resin delivers Service performance Up to 145°C, allowing components to maintain Structural Integrity under Continuous Thermal Exposure. This makes it suitable for applications where standard Polycarbonate Materials may Deform or Lose performance at Elevated Temperatures.

Processing remains Straightforward despite its High-Temperature Capability. The material Exhibits good Flow Behavior, enabling Smooth Mold Filling and consistent Part Formation. This supports efficient Manufacturing while maintaining accurate Geometry, making it suitable for a Wide range of standard Production Environments.

The Copolymer Structure provides a balanced Mechanical Profile. LEXAN™ XHT1141 Polycarbonate Resin offers Dependable Impact Resistance combined with stable Dimensional Behavior, allowing components to retain Shape and Function during use. This ensures reliable Assembly Fit and Long-Term performance across varying Service Conditions.

As a General-Purpose High Heat Material, this Grade is designed to provide Thermal capability without the need for Reinforcement or Flame-Retardant Additives. This Simplifies material selection while still delivering the required Heat Resistance for Many Industrial and Technical applications.

Because the formulation is not optimized for Flame Performance, LEXAN™ XHT1141 Polycarbonate Resin is not UL94 Rated. Its Focus remains on Heat Resistance, Processing Stability, and Mechanical reliability rather than Fire Classification.

The material is also RoHS Compliant, supporting Environmentally Responsible material selection and Compliance with Global Regulations.

Typical applications include Electrical Components, Automotive Parts, Industrial Housings, and Equipment exposed to Elevated Temperatures where reliable Thermal performance and stable Processing are Essential.
