LEXAN™ XHT3141 Polycarbonate Resin is an Opaque Polycarbonate Copolymer engineered for applications requiring Extreme High Heat Resistance, reliable General-Purpose Performance, and consistent Processability. This Non-Reinforced Grade is designed to operate at Elevated Temperatures Up to 165°C, offering a Higher Thermal capability compared to standard High-Heat Polycarbonate Materials.

In applications exposed to Intense or Prolonged Heat Environments, this Resin maintains Structural Integrity and resists Deformation, enabling components to perform reliably under demanding Thermal Conditions. Its Elevated Heat Resistance makes it suitable for Parts Operating Close to Heat Sources or within Systems Experiencing sustained Temperature Buildup.

Processing performance is supported by its good Flow Characteristics, allowing efficient Mold Filling and stable Part Formation across a Wide range of Designs. This provides manufacturers with flexibility in Production while maintaining consistent Part Quality and Dimensional Accuracy, even in Moderately Complex Geometries.

The Copolymer formulation ensures balanced Mechanical Properties, including Solid Impact Resistance and Dimensional Stability. Components retain their Shape and Functionality during use, contributing to reliable Assembly and Long-Term Durability in applications where both Mechanical and Thermal performance are Critical.

Positioned as a General-Purpose High Heat Solution within the XHT Portfolio, this Grade Extends Design capability by enabling Higher Operating Temperatures without requiring Reinforcement or specialized Additives. It offers a practical balance between Thermal Endurance, Processability, and Versatility.

From a Flame Classification Standpoint, LEXAN™ XHT3141 Polycarbonate Resin Achieves UL94 HB Rating from 1.50 mm to 3.00 mm Thickness, providing Basic Flame performance for applications where enhanced Fire Resistance is not a Primary Requirement.

The material is also RoHS Compliant, aligning with Global Environmental and Regulatory Standards.

Typical applications include Automotive Components, Electrical Housings, Industrial Equipment, and High-Temperature Structural Parts where Extreme Heat Resistance, Dimensional Stability, and Dependable Processing performance are required.
