LEXAN™ 505R Polycarbonate Resin is a High Performance Engineering Thermoplastic Developed for Applications requiring Excellent Mechanical Strength, Reliable Flame Retardancy and Enhanced Processing Efficiency. This Opaque Polycarbonate Grade Combines 10% Glass Reinforcement with a Non-Brominated and Non-Chlorinated Flame Retardant System, making it suitable for Electrical, Electronic and Industrial Components that demand both Structural Integrity and Environmental Compliance.
The 10% Glass Reinforcement Enhances Strength, Stiffness and Dimensional Stability compared with Standard Unreinforced Polycarbonate Grades. This Reinforced Structure helps Components Maintain Precise Dimensions and Mechanical Reliability under Continuous Load and Challenging Operating Conditions.
