LEXAN™ 505RU Polycarbonate Resin is a High Performance Engineering Thermoplastic Developed for Applications requiring Superior Mechanical Strength, Enhanced Environmental Durability and Reliable Flame Retardant Performance. This Opaque Polycarbonate Grade Combines 10% Glass Reinforcement with UV Stabilization and added Easy Release Technology, making it suitable for Electrical, Electronic and Industrial Components exposed to Demanding Service Conditions.

The 10% Glass Reinforcement Improves Strength, Stiffness and Dimensional Stability compared with Standard Unreinforced Polycarbonate Grades. This Reinforced Structure helps Components Maintain Precise Dimensions and Structural Integrity under Mechanical Loads, Supporting Long-Term Performance in Critical Applications.

LEXAN™ 505RU features a High Viscosity Formulation that provides Excellent Melt Strength and Stable Processing Behaviour. This Property enables the Production of Durable Moulded Components while maintaining Consistent Part Quality and Reliable Manufacturing Performance.
