LEXAN™ 515RU Polycarbonate Resin is a High Performance Engineering Thermoplastic Developed for Applications requiring Excellent Structural Strength, Enhanced UV Durability and Reliable Flame Retardant Performance. This Opaque Polycarbonate Grade Combines 10% Glass Reinforcement with UV Stabilization and added Easy Release Technology, making it suitable for Electrical, Electronic and Industrial Components exposed to Demanding Environmental and Operating Conditions.

The 10% Glass Reinforcement Enhances Strength, Stiffness and Dimensional Stability compared with Standard Polycarbonate Grades. This Reinforced Structure helps Components Maintain Precise Dimensions and Mechanical Integrity under Continuous Load, Supporting Long-Term Reliability in Structural and Functional Applications.

LEXAN™ 515RU features a High Viscosity Formulation that provides Excellent Melt Strength and Stable Processing Performance. The Material supports the Production of Durable Moulded Components while maintaining Consistent Quality and Reliable Manufacturing Efficiency across a Wide Range of Processing Conditions.

Added Easy Release Technology Improves Mould Release Performance during Injection Moulding Operations. This Processing Advantage helps Reduce Cycle Time Interruptions, Improve Productivity and Minimize the Potential for Surface Defects or Component Damage during Manufacturing.

A Key feature of LEXAN™ 515RU is its UV Stabilizer Package, which helps Protect Components against UV Exposure and Environmental Aging. Enhanced UV Stability supports Long-Term Colour Retention, Surface Appearance and Mechanical Performance, making the Material suitable for Applications exposed to Light and Outdoor Conditions.

The Material Utilizes a Non-Brominated and Non-Chlorinated Flame Retardant System that delivers Excellent Fire Safety Performance while Supporting Modern Environmental and Regulatory Requirements. This Non-Halogenated Technology provides Reliable UL94 V-0 Flame Retardancy without Compromising Strength, Toughness or Processing Performance.
