LEXAN™ BFL2015 Polycarbonate Resin is a Reinforced Flame Retardant Engineering Thermoplastic Developed for Applications requiring Enhanced Structural Strength, Reliable Fire Safety and Superior Processing Efficiency. This Opaque Polycarbonate Grade Combines 15% Glass Reinforcement with Improved Flow Characteristics and a Non-Brominated, Non-Chlorinated Flame Retardant System, making it suitable for Electrical, Electronic and Industrial Components requiring a Balance of Mechanical Performance and Manufacturing Productivity.
The 15% Glass Reinforcement provides Increased Strength, Stiffness and Dimensional Stability compared with Unreinforced Polycarbonate Grades. This Enhanced Structural Performance helps Components Maintain Precise Dimensions and Mechanical Integrity under Continuous Load and Elevated Operating Conditions.
LEXAN™ BFL2015 features a Low Viscosity High Flow Formulation that supports Efficient Processing of Complex and Thin-Wall Component Designs.
