LEXAN™ BY2710X Polycarbonate Resin is a Low Viscosity Flame Retardant Engineering Thermoplastic Developed for Applications requiring Enhanced Impact Performance, Excellent Processability and Reliable Fire Safety Compliance. This Opaque Polycarbonate Grade Utilizes a Non-Brominated and Non-Chlorinated Flame Retardant System and is Designed as an Improved Impact Strength Version of LEXAN™ 945 Resin, providing Greater Toughness while maintaining Excellent Processing Characteristics.
The Low Viscosity Formulation of LEXAN™ BY2710X delivers Improved Flow Performance, enabling Efficient Mould Filling in Complex Geometries and Thin-Wall Designs. This Enhanced Processability supports High Productivity Manufacturing while maintaining Excellent Surface Quality and Dimensional Accuracy.
A Key Advantage of LEXAN™ BY2710X is its Improved Impact Strength. The Material provides Greater Toughness and Resistance to Mechanical Stress compared with Standard General Purpose Flame Retardant Polycarbonate Grades, helping Components Maintain Structural Integrity in Demanding Applications.
