LEXAN™ 101R Polycarbonate is a Transparent Clear, General Purpose Thermoplastic Resin developed for Efficient injection molding processes. It is formulated with Low Flow Characteristics and added Easy Release Properties, supporting Smooth Mold Filling, Improved Part Release, and Consistent cycle times during production.
The Material offers Good Optical Clarity combined with Strong Mechanical Performance. LEXAN™ 101R Polycarbonate Resin demonstrates High Impact Resistance, making it suitable for applications requiring Durability, Dimensional Stability, and Long Service Life under normal operating conditions.
This Grade features High Viscosity behavior and complies with UL94 HB Flame Rating from 0.70 mm up to 3.00 mm Thickness. LEXAN™ 101R Polycarbonate Resin is ROHS Compliant, supporting Regulatory and Environmental Requirements across multiple industries.
As part of the LEXAN™ 100 Series, this Non Reinforced Grade contains no added Flame Retardants. It delivers a Broad Processing window with Stable Melt strength, Good Thermal Resistance, and balanced Mechanical properties suitable for Standard Engineering Applications.
Designed for Multi Purpose use, the series provides Consistent Quality, Easy Processing, and Reliable Performance. Typical applications include Housings, Covers, Optical Components, and Industrial parts where Transparency, Toughness, and Moldability are Essential.
