LEXAN™ 103 Polycarbonate Resin is a Transparent Polycarbonate Grade developed for applications requiring Optical Clarity, UV Durability, and Strong Melt Strength for both Extrusion and Injection Molding Processes. This General-Purpose material combines the Toughness Expected of Polycarbonate with enhanced Resistance to Light Exposure, making it suitable for components that demand Long-Term appearance Retention and Dependable Mechanical Performance.

Designed with a High Viscosity, Low Flow Profile, the Resin provides excellent Melt Strength during Processing. This Characteristic is particularly beneficial for Extrusion applications, Thicker Molded Sections, and Parts requiring improved Dimensional Stability, where controlled material behavior is critical to achieving consistent Product Quality. The Low Flow Nature of the material also supports Better Shape Retention during Processing.

A Key Advantage of this Grade is the Incorporation of UV Stabilization, which helps reduce Discoloration, Yellowing, and Property degradation caused by prolonged exposure to Ultraviolet Light.
