LEXAN™ 103R Polycarbonate Resin is a General Purpose Engineering Thermoplastic designed to deliver Optical Clarity together with reliable processing across Injection Molding and Extrusion Applications. This Transparent Polycarbonate Grade combines Low Flow characteristics with UV Stabilization to support consistent performance in Components where Appearance and Environmental Stability are Important.
Processing behaviour of LEXAN™ 103R Polycarbonate Resin is defined by its controlled Low Flow Profile, enabling Stable Melt Handling and Improved dimensional accuracy during molding operations. This Flow Behaviour also support uniform material distribution in extrusion, allowing flexibility across multiple manufacturing processes.
Manufacturing efficiency is enhanced by the Easy Release properties of LEXAN™ 103R Polycarbonate Resin, helping reduce Mold adhesion and supporting Smooth Part Ejection. These characteristics contribute to consistent cycle performance and reduced variability in production environments.
Optical Characteristics of LEXAN™ 103R Polycarbonate Resin support the Production of Transparent, Clear Components with uniform Light Transmission and Clean Surface Finish. This makes the material suitable for applications where clarity, visibility, or aesthetic presentation is required alongside mechanical reliability.
Environmental Resistance is supported by the UV Stabilized formulation of LEXAN™ 103R Polycarbonate Resin, helping maintain material properties and surface appearance under light exposure. This Stability support long term performance in environments where UV exposure may influence product durability.
Flammability Classification of LEXAN™ 103R Polycarbonate Resin is defined by its UL Rating. LEXAN™ 103R is UL94 HB, 0.75 mm ~ 3.00 mm Rated, supporting use in applications where baseline flammability requirements apply without flame retardant formulation.
Regulatory and Market alignment is addressed through the RoHS Compliant Status of LEXAN™ 103R Polycarbonate Resin, enabling use in Global applications where clarity, processing consistency, and compliance requirements must be achieved together.
