LEXAN™ 123R Polycarbonate Resin is a General-Purpose, High Flow Polycarbonate Material developed for Applications requiring Optical Clarity, Processing Efficiency, and Mechanical Durability. This Transparent Grade combines Low Viscosity, Easy Mold Release, and UV Stabilization, allowing manufacturers to produce high-quality Components with consistent Performance and excellent Surface Appearance.
A key advantage of LEXAN™ 123R Polycarbonate Resin is its High Flow Processing Capability. The Low Viscosity Formulation enables fast and efficient Mold Filling, helping manufacturers produce Complex Geometries and detailed Features with improved Productivity. Easy Mold Release further enhances Manufacturing Efficiency by reducing Demolding Resistance and supporting smoother Production Cycles.
UV Stabilization is integrated into the Material to help preserve Clarity and Mechanical Properties during exposure to Light and Outdoor Conditions. This allows LEXAN™ 123R Polycarbonate Resin to maintain its Transparent Appearance and long-term Performance in Applications where Environmental Exposure may occur.
As part of the LEXAN™ 100 Series, LEXAN™ 123R Polycarbonate Resin belongs to a family of Non-Reinforced Polycarbonate Grades that offer a range of Viscosity Options to suit different Processing Requirements. The Material contains no added Flame Retardant System, allowing it to focus on balanced Optical, Mechanical, and Processing Performance.
LEXAN™ 123R Polycarbonate Resin delivers excellent Toughness and Impact Resistance, enabling Components to withstand everyday Mechanical Stress while maintaining Dimensional Stability. Its combination of Strength and Transparency makes it suitable for Applications where both Visibility and Durability are required.
From a safety perspective, LEXAN™ 123R Polycarbonate Resin achieves UL94 HB Rating from 0.75 mm to 3.00 mm thickness, supporting Applications where basic Flame Performance is sufficient without the need for specialized Flame-Retardant Additives.
