LEXAN™ 133R Polycarbonate Resin is a Transparent Polycarbonate Grade developed for applications that require High Melt Strength, UV Durability, and Dependable Processing Performance. Designed for both Injection Molding and Extrusion, LEXAN™ 133R Polycarbonate Resin combines a Low-Flow Profile with enhanced Additives that support Long-Term appearance Retention and improved Manufacturing Efficiency.
Unlike High-Flow Molding Grades, LEXAN™ 133R Resin features a Low-Flow, High-Viscosity Formulation, providing excellent Melt Strength during Processing. This Characteristic makes LEXAN™ 133R Polycarbonate Resin particularly suitable for Extrusion Profiles, Thicker-Wall Components, and applications where Dimensional Stability is Critical. The controlled Flow behavior helps maintain Shape Consistency while supporting reliable Production Outcomes.
To Enhance performance in Light-Exposed Environments, LEXAN™ 133R Polycarbonate Resin Incorporates a UV Stabilizer, helping protect against Yellowing, Discoloration, and degradation caused by Prolonged UV Exposure. This allows Parts Manufactured from LEXAN™ 133R Resin to maintain their Transparency and Visual appearance over an Extended Service Life.
Processing Efficiency is further improved through the addition of easy Release Technology. During Molding Operations, LEXAN™ 133R Polycarbonate Resin Promotes Smoother Demolding and reduced Part Adhesion, Contributing to improved Productivity and more consistent Manufacturing Performance.
The Transparent Clear formulation of LEXAN™ 133R Polycarbonate Resin delivers excellent Optical Clarity and Light Transmission. This makes the material suitable for applications where Visibility, Aesthetics, or Inspection capability are important while still Benefiting from the Toughness Associated with Polycarbonate Materials.

For Flame Performance, LEXAN™ 133R Polycarbonate Resin Achieves UL94 HB Classification from 0.75 mm to 3.00 mm Thickness, supporting applications where Basic Flame performance is required.
LEXAN™ 133R Polycarbonate Resin is also RoHS Compliant, supporting alignment with Global Environmental and Regulatory Standards.
