LEXAN™ 143 Polycarbonate Resin is a general Purpose material designed for applications that require Optical Clarity with Stable Processing Performance. This Transparent Grade maintains a Clean, Crystal Clear Appearance while providing reliable behaviour during Molding.
The LEXAN™ 143 Polycarbonate Resin operates with a Medium Flow Profile, allowing Consistent Filling of standard Part Geometries. The Flow balance support Good Surface Finish while Avoiding Excessive material Movement during Processing.
A Key Feature of LEXAN™ 143 Polycarbonate Resin is its Integrated UV Stabilizer. This helps Protect the material from Yellowing and Degradation when Exposed to Light, making it suitable for Indoor applications where Clarity must be maintained over Time.
Unlike Flame Retardant Modified Grades, LEXAN™ 143 Polycarbonate Resin is a Non Halogenated, Non FR Material, offering a Simpler formulation while still Achieving UL94 HB Classification from 0.75 mm to 3.00 mm. This makes it Appropriate for applications where standard Flammability Performance is Sufficient.
LEXAN™ 143 Polycarbonate Resin delivers High Transparency, making it suitable for Visible Components where Light Transmission and Clarity are Important.
The material is supplied in Clear Transparent Form, supporting applications where Visual Quality and Clean Aesthetics are required.
Typical Uses include Display Covers, Lighting Components, Housings, Protective Panels, and General Transparent Parts, where Clarity, UV Resistance, and Process Stability must be balanced.
