LEXAN™ 201R Polycarbonate Resin is a Transparent Polycarbonate Grade designed for applications that require enhanced Flame Performance, High Impact Strength, and controlled Processing Characteristics. featuring a Low-Flow Formulation, LEXAN™ 201R Polycarbonate Resin is particularly suitable for components where Dimensional Stability, Mechanical Durability, and reliable Molding performance are Important.
Unlike standard HB-Rated Polycarbonate Grades, LEXAN™ 201R Resin delivers an improved UL94 V-2 Flame Classification, making it a practical Choice for applications that require a Higher Level of Flame performance while Retaining the Optical Clarity and Toughness Associated with Polycarbonate Materials.
The Low-Flow Nature of LEXAN™ 201R Polycarbonate Resin provides increased Melt Strength, enabling Better Control during Molding and helping maintain Part Geometry in Thicker Sections and Structural Components. This Processing Profile is especially beneficial for applications where Precision and Dimensional Consistency are Critical.
