LEXAN™ HP3REU Resin is a Transparent Clear Healthcare Polycarbonate developed for European medical applications requiring proven sterilization compatibility, biocompatibility assessment and dependable long-term performance. Designed for reusable healthcare devices and precision medical components, LEXAN™ HP3REU combines excellent optical clarity with Low to Medium Flow processing and Added Easy Release Technology.
LEXAN™ HP3REU Polycarbonate Resin is suitable for both Autoclave and Ethylene Oxide (EtO) Sterilization Processes commonly used in hospitals, laboratories and healthcare facilities. Components manufactured from LEXAN™ HP3REU maintain their dimensional stability, transparency and mechanical performance through repeated sterilization cycles, supporting the demanding requirements of reusable medical products.
Transparency is a significant advantage of LEXAN™ HP3REU. The clear formulation allows excellent visibility for fluid monitoring, diagnostic observation and device inspection. As a result, LEXAN™ HP3REU Resin is frequently considered for medical housings, fluid management systems, laboratory equipment and diagnostic devices where optical clarity is essential.
Unlike high-flow healthcare grades optimized primarily for thin-wall moulding, LEXAN™ HP3REU Polycarbonate features a Low to Medium Flow profile that can provide improved control during the manufacture of precision components. This processing balance allows LEXAN™ HP3REU to deliver excellent dimensional accuracy while maintaining the toughness associated with premium medical-grade polycarbonate materials.
LEXAN™ HP3REU Resin has been Biocompatibility Assessed to ISO 10993 and USP Class VI standards. These recognized healthcare evaluations support the selection of LEXAN™ HP3REU for medical applications where patient safety, material consistency and healthcare regulatory requirements are important considerations.
