LEXAN™ HP4 Resin is a Healthcare-Grade Polycarbonate Material developed for medical devices and reusable healthcare components requiring Sterilization Compatibility, Biocompatibility Assessment and dependable long-term performance. Designed for demanding medical environments, LEXAN™ HP4 combines excellent toughness with Added Easy Release Technology, providing manufacturers with an efficient and reliable material solution for healthcare applications.
LEXAN™ HP4 Polycarbonate Resin is suitable for both Autoclave and Ethylene Oxide (EtO) Sterilization Processes commonly used in hospitals, laboratories and medical facilities. Components manufactured from LEXAN™ HP4 can endure repeated sterilization cycles while maintaining dimensional stability, appearance and mechanical integrity, making the material suitable for reusable medical products.
For healthcare applications requiring regulatory-focused material selection, LEXAN™ HP4 has been Biocompatibility Assessed to ISO 10993 and USP Class VI standards.
