LEXAN™ HP4REU Resin is a Transparent Clear Healthcare Polycarbonate Material Developed specifically for European Medical and Healthcare Applications requiring Sterilization Compatibility, Optical Clarity and Proven Biocompatibility Performance. Combining a Low Flow Processing Profile with Improved Easy Release Technology, LEXAN™ HP4REU provides manufacturers with a reliable material solution for reusable medical devices and precision healthcare components.
LEXAN™ HP4REU Polycarbonate Resin is designed to withstand both Autoclave and Ethylene Oxide (EtO) Sterilization Processes commonly used in hospitals, laboratories and healthcare facilities. Components manufactured from LEXAN™ HP4REU retain their dimensional stability, transparency and mechanical integrity after repeated sterilization cycles, helping support long-term use in demanding medical environments.
Transparency is one of the defining advantages of LEXAN™ HP4REU. The clear polycarbonate formulation allows excellent visual inspection of fluids, device operation and internal components. This makes LEXAN™ HP4REU Resin a suitable material for diagnostic equipment, laboratory devices, fluid handling systems and reusable medical housings where optical clarity is essential.
LEXAN™ HP4REU has been Biocompatibility Assessed to ISO 10993 and USP Class VI standards. These recognized healthcare assessments support the use of LEXAN™ HP4REU Polycarbonate in applications where patient safety, material consistency and medical regulatory requirements are important material selection considerations.
Unlike high-flow healthcare grades optimized for thin-wall moulding, LEXAN™ HP4REU Resin features a Low Flow profile that provides excellent moulding control for dimensionally critical healthcare components. The processing characteristics of LEXAN™ HP4REU help support precise part geometry, consistent dimensions and reliable production quality.
To improve manufacturing efficiency, LEXAN™ HP4REU Polycarbonate Resin incorporates Improved Easy Release Technology.
