LEXAN™ HPS2 Resin is a Healthcare Polycarbonate Material Developed for Medical Disposable Products that require Reliable Sterilization Performance, Radiation Resistance and Consistent Manufacturing Efficiency. Engineered for healthcare applications where product reliability and regulatory compliance are essential, LEXAN™ HPS2 provides an optimal balance of Medium to High Flow Processing, Biocompatibility Assessment and Broad Sterilization Compatibility.

Unlike standard medical polycarbonate grades, LEXAN™ HPS2 Polycarbonate Resin is specifically designed to withstand multiple sterilization technologies commonly used in the healthcare industry. Components manufactured from LEXAN™ HPS2 are suitable for Ethylene Oxide (EtO), Steam, Electron Beam (E-Beam) and Gamma Sterilization, offering manufacturers greater flexibility when selecting sterilization methods for medical disposable products.

LEXAN™ HPS2 features a Radiation Resistant Formulation that helps maintain material performance following exposure to Gamma and E-Beam sterilization processes. This capability makes LEXAN™ HPS2 Resin particularly valuable for healthcare applications where radiation sterilization is required to ensure product safety while preserving mechanical and visual properties.
