LEXAN™ HPS6 Polycarbonate Resin is a Transparent Clear Healthcare material developed for Medical Disposable Products requiring Radiation Resistance, Sterilization Compatibility and reliable Healthcare Performance. Designed for demanding Medical Environments, LEXAN™ HPS6 combines a unique Low Flow Processing Profile with added easy Release Technology, making it well suited for Precision Healthcare components where Dimensional Accuracy and Long-Term Consistency are Critical.
Unlike Conventional Healthcare Plastics that may be limited to Specific Sterilization Methods, LEXAN™ HPS6 Resin is Compatible with a Broad range of Sterilization Technologies. Medical Devices Manufactured from LEXAN™ HPS6 can be Sterilized using Ethylene Oxide (Eto), Steam, Electron Beam (E-Beam) and Gamma Irradiation Processes, providing Healthcare manufacturers with greater flexibility during Product Development and Production.
LEXAN™ HPS6 is specifically formulated as a Radiation resistant Polycarbonate Grade.
