STAT-KON AE008XXY Compound. ABS 40% Carbon Fiber Reinforced. Stiffness

Electrically Conductive, Lightweight and Good Impact Strength

LNP™ STAT KON® AE008XXY ABS Compound is built for applications where Lightweight Construction must Carry real Structural Responsibility while maintaining Electrostatic Control. Reinforced with an Exceptionally High 40% Carbon Fiber Content, this material Shifts ABS from a General-Purpose Plastic into a Load-Capable, Conductive Structural System.

In Practice, Materials at this Level are not Simply chosen for Strength — they are selected for how they Hold Shape under Stress. Under Load, Bending Forces are Resisted Immediately, with Minimal Deformation. This behaviour defines its Role in Assemblies where Geometry Stability Affects Performance, such as Frames, Supports, or Rigid Enclosures.

LNP™ STAT KON® AE008XXY ABS Compound Introduces a Dense Carbon Fiber Network that Performs Two Functions Simultaneously. It creates a Continuous Conductive Pathway, enabling Electrostatic Discharge across the Part, while also Forming a Rigid Internal Skeleton that Increases Stiffness Significantly. With a Surface Resistivity between 1×10² and 1×10⁶ Ω, the material is Capable of Operating across both Conductive and Static-Dissipative Ranges Depending on System Requirements.

Despite the High Reinforcement Level, the ABS Base Plays an important Role. It provides Impact Tolerance, preventing the material from Behaving as a Purely Brittle Structure. This allows Parts to Resist sudden Forces or Handling Stress without Catastrophic Failure — a Crucial Factor in Real-World applications where Perfect Conditions do not Exist.

LNP™ STAT KON® AE008XXY ABS Compound also maintains a Clear Advantage in Weight Efficiency. Compared to Metal Alternatives or Heavily Filled Engineering Plastics, it delivers High Stiffness-To-Weight Performance, allowing Designers to reduce System Mass while maintaining Load-Bearing Capability. This becomes particularly valuable in applications where Mobility, Assembly Weight, or Structural Efficiency are Critical.

Processing is Aligned with Performance. Even with High Carbon Fiber Loading, the material support consistent Molding Behaviour, enabling Reproducible results in Part Geometry, Wall Thickness, and Mechanical Stability. This Consistency ensures that Design Intent is Preserved from Concept through Production.

The Compound is not Positioned for Flame-Retardant Certification and is Therefore not UL94 Listed, as the Primary Engineering Focus Lies in Structural Rigidity, Electrical Functionality, and Lightweight Reinforcement.

In Real-World Systems, this material is best suited for Rigid ESD Housings, Lightweight Structural Frames, Electronic Enclosures, and Load-Bearing Components, where Mechanical Strength and Electrostatic Control must be achieved simultaneously without Increasing Part Complexity.

LNP™ STAT KON® AE008XXY ABS Compound is RoHS Compliant, supporting Responsible material selection while delivering High-Performance Engineering Capability.
