STAT-KON DFD029 Compound. PC Based Carbon Powder & 10% Glass Fiber

ATEX Compliant FR, Electrically Conductive, High Stiffness & Strength

LNP™ STAT KON® DFD029 Polycarbonate Compound is designed for use in Environments where Electrical, Mechanical, and Safety Factors must be controlled Simultaneously. In Industries Operating under ATEX Requirements, Materials are not only selected for Performance, but for their ability to reduce Risk under Potentially Explosive Conditions.

The formulation Addresses this need through a carefully balanced System. Conductive Carbon Powder provides a controlled Pathway for Charge Dissipation, while Glass Fiber Reinforcement Improves Structural Stability. This creates a material that is Capable of maintaining both Electrical Control and Physical reliability under demanding Operating Conditions.

LNP™ STAT KON® DFD029 Polycarbonate Compound support ATEX-Compliant Design by minimizing the Risk of Electrostatic Charge Accumulation. Operating within a Surface Resistivity range of 1×10⁴ to 1×10⁹ Ω, it enables controlled Dissipation across a Wide Spectrum of applications, making it suitable for Systems that must meet Strict Safety Thresholds without Sacrificing Process Flexibility.

Flame performance is a Defining Factor of this Grade. Achieving UL94 V0 at 1.8 mm, the material offers a High Level of Flame Retardancy, allowing it to be used in Environments where Ignition Resistance is Critical. This adds an additional Layer of Safety beyond Electrostatic Control, supporting the Design of Equipment used in Hazardous Zones.

LNP™ STAT KON® DFD029 Polycarbonate Compound also Benefits from the Structural Contribution of 10% Glass Fiber, which Increases Stiffness and Improves Dimensional Stability. This ensures that Parts maintain their Geometry under Mechanical Stress, Vibration, or Temperature Variation, all of which are Common in Industrial Settings.

From a Production Standpoint, the Compound is engineered to remain Process Able despite its Functional Complexity. It support consistent Molding Performance, allowing manufacturers to produce Parts with reliable Internal Structure and Repeatable Electrical Characteristics. This is especially important in Safety-Critical applications, where Variability Cannot be Tolerated.

The material is typically used in ATEX-Certified Housings, Industrial Control Equipment, and Enclosures for Hazardous Areas, and Electronic components Operating in Explosive Atmospheres, where Flame Resistance, Conductivity, and Structural Integrity must work together as a Unified System.

LNP™ STAT KON® DFD029 Polycarbonate Compound is RoHS Compliant, Reinforcing its suitability for Modern Industrial applications requiring both Regulatory Compliance and Dependable Engineering Performance.
