LNP™ STAT KON® RE002 PA6/6 Compound is a material often selected when Engineers need a Direct Path to Conductivity within a Familiar Nylon System, without Introducing Excessive Stiffness or Processing Complexity. It provides a balanced Starting Point for applications where both Electrical Control and Mechanical Toughness are required in Equal Measure.
In many Designs, the Challenge is not achieving Conductivity, but achieving it without Compromising Impact performance or Manufacturability. This Grade Addresses that balance through the use of 10% Carbon Fiber, Enough to create a reliable Conductive Pathway while preserving the Inherent Resilience of Polyamide 6/6.
LNP™ STAT KON® RE002 PA6/6 Compound delivers Strong Electrical Performance, Operating within a Surface Resistivity range of 1×10¹ to 1×10³ Ω, Placing it Firmly in the Conductive Zone. This allows Rapid Electrostatic Discharge, making it suitable for Environments where Sensitive Electronic components must be protected from Static Build-Up during Handling or Operation.
At the same time, the material retains the Mechanical Advantages of Nylon 6/6, particularly its ability to Absorb Impact and Resist Cracking under Stress. This makes it well suited for Parts that are exposed to repeated Handling, Assembly Processes, or Dynamic Loading Conditions. Unlike Higher Fiber-Loaded Systems, this Grade offers a more Forgiving Response under Stress, which is critical in applications where Durability is Essential.
LNP™ STAT KON® RE002 PA6/6 Compound also support efficient Production. The Moderate Reinforcement Level allows for more Predictable Molding Behaviour, helping manufacturers produce consistent Parts without Excessive Wear on Tooling or complex Process Adjustments. This makes it particularly attractive for High-Volume Manufacturing where Repeatability and Cost Control are Important.
The material is not designed for Flame-Critical Environments and is Therefore not UL94 Listed, as its Primary Function is to provide Conductivity and Mechanical balance rather than Flame Retardancy.
From a Design Perspective, this Compound is typically chosen for ESD Housings, Mechanical Supports, Electronic Handling Components, and Industrial Assemblies, where Engineers need a material that can handle both Electrical and Mechanical Stress without Leaning too Heavily in One Direction.
