NORYL™ GTX840 High Stiffness Reinforced PPE + PA High Modulus Blend

40% Glass Reinforced, Good High Heat & Excellent Chemical Resistance

NORYL™ GTX840 Resin is a High Performance PPE + PA Alloy Designed for Applications that demand Exceptional Stiffness, Outstanding Dimensional Stability and Long-Term Chemical Resistance. Reinforced with 40% Glass Fibre, NORYL™ GTX840 delivers a unique combination of Structural Strength, Hydrolytic Stability and Low Warpage Performance, making it suitable for demanding Automotive, Industrial and Electrical Components.

With its high level of reinforcement, NORYL™ GTX840 PPE + PA Blend provides superior stiffness and load-bearing capability compared with lower glass-filled grades. Components manufactured from NORYL™ GTX840 Resin maintain dimensional precision under mechanical stress, supporting applications where structural rigidity and accurate fit are critical requirements.

One of the defining characteristics of NORYL™ GTX840 is its excellent resistance to a wide range of automotive fluids, oils, greases and industrial chemicals. The PPE + PA Alloy Technology helps NORYL™ GTX840 PPE + PA Resin retain mechanical performance and surface integrity even in chemically demanding service environments.

Dimensional control is further enhanced by the Low Warpage characteristics of NORYL™ GTX840. The combination of 40% Glass Fibre Reinforcement and optimized alloy technology helps reduce distortion during moulding and cooling, enabling manufacturers to produce precision components with consistent quality and excellent assembly accuracy.

another important benefit of NORYL™ GTX840 Resin is its Hydrolytic Stability. Components moulded from NORYL™ GTX840 PPE + PA Blend maintain performance when exposed to humidity, moisture and wet operating conditions, making the material suitable for applications where environmental durability is required.

In addition to chemical and moisture resistance, NORYL™ GTX840 offers good heat resistance for demanding operating environments. The material helps maintain stiffness, dimensional stability and structural integrity when subjected to elevated temperatures, supporting long-term reliability in automotive and industrial applications.

Because of its combination of High Modulus Performance, Low Warpage and Hydrolytic Stability, NORYL™ GTX840 PPE + PA Alloy is frequently considered for structural housings, automotive modules, industrial equipment, electrical components and engineering assemblies requiring maximum stiffness and dimensional control.
