NORYL™ CN5260 PPE + HIPS Blend with 50% Reinforced. High Modulus FR

Non Brominated, Non Chlorinated FR, Low Warpage & Surface Aesthetics

NORYL™ CN5260 PPE+HIPS resin is an ultra‑high reinforced engineering material designed with 30% glass fiber and 20% mica to deliver exceptional stiffness, rigidity, and dimensional stability. This advanced polyphenylene ether (PPE) and high impact polystyrene (HIPS) blend incorporates a non‑brominated, non‑chlorinated flame retardant system, making it suitable for applications demanding both Structural Performance and Environmental Compliance.

The formulation strategy focuses on maximizing reinforcement efficiency while minimizing warpage and creep deformation. The combined use of glass fiber and mica significantly improves load-bearing capability while controlling shrinkage during molding. This results in improved surface quality and consistent geometry for components requiring Precision Stability and Structural Accuracy.

NORYL™ CN5260 PPE+HIPS resin provides high modulus performance, allowing it to withstand continuous mechanical stress and maintain shape under elevated temperatures. Its hydrolytic stability ensures reliable performance in humid and moisture-rich environments, making it suitable for applications exposed to Long-Term Environmental Stress.

Processing behavior remains well balanced despite the high filler loading. The material offers excellent processability with controlled flow, enabling manufacturers to achieve uniform mold filling and repeatable part quality. Low warpage characteristics further enhance production consistency, reducing assembly issues and improving overall Manufacturing Efficiency.

NORYL™ CN5260 PPE+HIPS resin features a non-halogenated flame retardant system and achieves UL94 V-1 classification from 1.50 mm to 3.00 mm thickness. This supports safer material selection for electrical and industrial applications requiring flame resistance. In addition, NORYL™ CN5260 is RoHS Compliant, ensuring alignment with Global Environmental and Regulatory Standards.
The inherent benefits of PPO™ resin within the NORYL family contribute to excellent electrical properties, high heat resistance, and low specific gravity. These characteristics, combined with strong dimensional stability and surface appearance, make the material a practical choice for demanding industrial applications.

NORYL™ CN5260 PPE+HIPS resin is widely recognized as a strong candidate for structural components such as printer chassis and industrial housings. With its high reinforcement level, low creep behavior, flame retardancy, and RoHS compliance, it delivers a dependable solution for applications requiring High Rigidity and Long-Term Performance.
