NORYL™ EM6100 Automotive Components Interior Resin PPE + HIPS Blend

Impact Strength, Low Warpage, Dimension Stability & Paintable Surface

NORYL™ EM6100 PPE + HIPS Resin is an engineering Thermoplastic specifically developed for Automotive Interior Components where Impact Performance, Dimensional Stability, and Surface Quality are Critical Design requirements. This Unfilled PPE + HIPS Resin System supports interior applications that require consistent Mechanical Behavior, controlled Warpage, and Compatibility with Secondary Finishing Processes such as Painting.

Balanced Mechanical Performance defines the use of NORYL™ EM6100 PPE + HIPS Resin, combining Good Impact Strength with Stable Flow Characteristics to support Complex Interior Part Geometries. This Balance allows Designers to produce Components that Resist Damage during assembly and in Service use while maintaining Predictable Mold Filling and Uniform Part Reproduction.

Dimensional Stability is a Key Attribute when using NORYL™ EM6100 PPE + HIPS Resin in Automotive Interior Environments where Temperature Fluctuations and Long Term Fit requirements are Important. Low Warpage Behavior helps maintain Tight Tolerances across Large or Visible Parts, supporting consistent alignment, Gap Control, and Overall Interior Quality Perception.

Surface Performance is further enhanced by the Paintable Nature of NORYL™ EM6100 PPE + HIPS Resin, enabling Good Paint Adhesion and Uniform Coating appearance. This Characteristic supports Interior Trim, Panels, and Decorative Components where Visual Finish and Color Consistency are Essential to the Final Product Design.

Flame Performance requirements for interior applications are addressed by the UL Classification of NORYL™ EM6100 PPE + HIPS Resin. NORYL™ EM6100 are UL94-HB rated, 1.50 mm ~ 6.00 mm, supporting use in Automotive Interior Designs where Baseline Flame Performance is required without the use of Specialized Flame Retardant Systems.

From an Environmental Perspective, NORYL™ EM6100 PPE + HIPS Resin is a ROHS Compliant Material, supporting use in Vehicles and Components that must meet Global Environmental and Hazardous Substance Regulations. This Compliance enables Broader Market Adoption while maintaining the Mechanical Balance, Surface Quality, and Processing reliability required for Interior Automotive Applications
