NORYL™ FE1630PW Reinforced FDA Hydrolytic Stability PPE + ccPS Blend
Good Impact, Low Moisture Absorption & Long Term Hydrolytic Stability
NORYL™ FE1630PW PPE+ccPS Resin is a 30% Glass Reinforced Polyphenylene Ether (PPE) and Syndiotactic Polystyrene (ccPS) Blend engineered for applications requiring maximum Stiffness, Hydrolytic Stability, and Dimensional Stability. Designed for demanding Water-related environments, this grade provides superior structural performance where long-term exposure and mechanical loading are critical.
Materials used in Water Contact Applications must maintain Consistent Properties under prolonged Moisture Exposure and continuous service conditions. This grade is formulated with Low Creep Sensitivity and strong Long-Term Hydrolytic Stability, ensuring Reliable Performance without structural degradation, supporting Extended Service Life in Harsh Wet Environments.
NORYL™ FE1630PW PPE+ccPS Resin delivers the highest level of Rigidity and Load-Bearing Capability within this series due to its 30% glass reinforcement. This enables components to maintain precise geometry under stress, making it suitable for applications requiring Maximum Structural Stability and resistance to mechanical deformation.
Processing is optimized to control shrinkage and improve Low Warpage Behavior, allowing consistent part shape and dimensional accuracy. Despite its high reinforcement level, the formulation supports stable molding conditions, helping manufacturers achieve Manufacturing Consistency and reliable production outcomes.
NORYL™ FE1630PW PPE+ccPS Resin achieves UL94 HB Rating from 1.50 mm to 3.00 mm Thickness, supporting general-purpose flame performance requirements. It also demonstrates excellent resistance to moisture-related degradation, ensuring durability in continuous water exposure conditions. In addition, NORYL™ FE1630PW is RoHS Compliant, aligning with Global Environmental Standards.
From an application perspective, this material is ideal for Water System Components, Industrial Fluid Handling Equipment, and Structural Housings where high strength and long-term stability are essential. Its enhanced reinforcement level supports use in parts subjected to pressure, load, and environmental stress.
NORYL™ FE1630PW PPE+ccPS Resin ultimately delivers a high-performance solution combining Hydrolytic Stability, Maximum Rigidity, and Dimensional Control. With its highest reinforcement level, low warpage characteristics, and regulatory compliance, it provides a dependable option for Long-Term Performance in Critical Water Applications.
