NORYL™ FE1740PW Reinforced FDA Hydrolytic Stability PPE + ccPS Blend
Good Impact, Low Moisture Absorption & Long Term Hydrolytic Stability
NORYL™ FE1740PW PPE+Ccps Resin is a 40% Glass Reinforced Polyphenylene Ether (PPE) and Syndiotactic Polystyrene (Ccps) Blend engineered for applications requiring Maximum Stiffness, Hydrolytic Stability, and Dimensional Stability. This Grade represents the Highest Reinforcement Level within the Series, designed for Water-Related Environments where Structural Integrity and Long-Term Durability are Critical.
Materials used in Water Contact applications must maintain consistent properties under Prolonged Moisture exposure and demanding Service Conditions. This Grade is formulated with Low Creep Sensitivity and Strong Long-Term Hydrolytic Stability, ensuring reliable performance without Structural Degradation, supporting Extended Service Life in Continuous Wet Environments.
NORYL™ FE1740PW PPE+Ccps Resin delivers Superior Rigidity and Load-Bearing capability due to its 40% Glass Reinforcement. This High Reinforcement Level enhances Resistance to Deformation, allowing components to maintain Precise Geometry under Stress, making it Ideal for applications requiring Extreme Structural Stability and Durability.
Processing characteristics are carefully balanced to maintain Low Warpage behavior despite the High Filler Content. The formulation supports controlled Shrinkage and consistent Mold Filling, enabling manufacturers to achieve accurate Part Geometry and Improved Manufacturing Consistency even in Complex Designs.
NORYL™ FE1740PW PPE+Ccps Resin Achieves UL94 HB Rating from 1.50 mm to 3.00 mm Thickness, supporting General-Purpose Flame performance Requirements. It also offers excellent Resistance to Moisture-Related Degradation, ensuring Long-Term Durability in Continuous Water exposure Conditions. in addition, NORYL™ FE1740PW is RoHS Compliant, aligning with Global Environmental Standards.
From an application Perspective, this material is highly suitable for Heavy Duty Water System Components, Structural Housings, and Industrial Fluid Handling Equipment requiring Maximum Rigidity and Long-Term Stability. Its Reinforced Structure supports applications subjected to High Mechanical Load and Environmental Stress.
NORYL™ FE1740PW PPE+Ccps Resin ultimately delivers the Highest Level of Hydrolytic Stability, Mechanical Strength, and Dimensional Control within the Series. With its Maximum Reinforcement Level, Low Warpage Characteristics, and Regulatory Compliance, it provides a reliable Solution for critical Water applications requiring Extreme Structural Performance.
