NORYL™ GFN1 PPE+HIPS Resin is a 10% Glass Reinforced Polyphenylene Ether (PPE) and High Impact Polystyrene (HIPS) Blend designed for applications requiring Stiffness, Dimensional Stability, and Outdoor Durability. This General Purpose material offers a balanced combination of Mechanical Strength and Low Density, making it suitable for components where Lightweight Design and Structural performance are Essential.

Materials used in Outdoor applications must maintain consistent properties under UV Exposure, Moisture Conditions, and Temperature Variation. This Grade is developed with Hydrolytic Stability and Strong Resistance to Environmental Stress, ensuring reliable performance without material Degradation, supporting Long-Term Outdoor Stability.

NORYL™ GFN1 PPE+HIPS Resin provides enhanced Stiffness and Improved Dimensional Control through its Glass Reinforcement, allowing components to maintain Shape under Load. Its balanced Mechanical Profile supports applications requiring both Strength and reduced Weight, Contributing to efficient Structural Performance.

Processing characteristics are optimized to reduce Low Warpage behavior and ensure consistent Part Geometry during Molding. NORYL™ GFN1 PPE+HIPS Resin Achieves UL94 HB Rating from 1.50 mm to 3.00 mm Thickness, supporting General-Purpose Flame performance Requirements. It also provides good Electrical properties and Resistance to Environmental Conditions, making it suitable for Outdoor Electrical and Industrial applications. In addition, NORYL™ GFN1 is RoHS Compliant, aligning with Global Environmental Standards.
